Free Mini Golf round the City
Set the Scene
Head to The Commons created by the wonderful and creative Gap Fillers located at 70 Kilmore Street for a golf club, ball and scorecard/map (a gold coin donation is appreciated to go towards the awesome work this group does) and start your game!
This unique game of Mini Golf takes you around the City either on foot or bicycle to streets that you may not have seen in a while and the new awesome things popping up around the City!
The Commons also has a rad collection of Food Caravans ready to serve up some incredible bites and drinks to insure that you don't go exploring on an empty stomach.
Here are some ideas for the streets you might be cruising past:

Cafes
Some of the Cafes you will be passing by that are definitely worth checking out are the Herb Centre Café, Beat Street Café, C1 Espresso, and the Caffeine Laboratory HQ!
Stretch the Date out and enjoy your time with a coffee here, smoothie there, and Beat Streets Famous Chocolate Brownie to take away.

Good for the Soul
On the corner of Manchester and Kilmore Street is where the Old St Lukes Anglican church stood but has now been turned into a peaceful earthquake memorial and place of reflection.
With some of the old bricks they have made a full Labyrinth for people to do themselves.
There can be a few different ways to do a Labyrinth but if you've never done it before here is a simple and effective option:
Walk in to the Labyrinth thinking of all the things that you are worried or stressed about or want to change.
Then once you get to the middle where the Tree stands, just be and breathe.
On your way out of the Labyrinth think of anything you are thankful or grateful for in your life.
When you come out of it you will probably be smiling and hopefully feel a lot lighter!

Arty
On the corner of Kilmore and Barbadoes Street next to one of the Mini Golf Holes is a random cabinet standing on the gravel. Inside is a range of unique and different books that you can borrow, swap or bring back later. Great for those book lovers!
As you walk around the streets look out for the Art Walls that display building sized art works on the sides of walls.
Take your camera and use your mint photography skills to capture your trip around the city to print off later for the Date Album.

Music
On Gloucester Street near Regent St is a creative Musical Playground where you can make noises with different instruments and objects and make your own concert!
Feel like groovin? Jump across the road to the 'Disco-Mat' where you can put a $2 coin into the Washing Machine and plug in your music and hit the stage with your favourite beats. Whirl around doing the Waltz, or break out the Old Skool moves from back in the day!
